Merchandise Return Policy

Non-textbook merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 60 days of purchase providing the merchandise is returned in new condition including original packaging and price tags. The original receipt is required with any exchange or return. Some items are non-returnable: clearance items, general books, teacher’s aids, study guides, software, ink jet cartridges, media, health and beauty aids, medicines and other consumable items are examples of these. Refunds will be made in like tender. If the original purchase was made by check a refund will not be issued until 10 days after the date of purchase. If the original purchase was made by credit or debit card the customer must present that card as well as the original receipt in order to obtain a refund.

 

Fall/Spring Semester Textbook Return Policy

Course Materials purchased at the University Store for the current semester are refundable under certain conditions: Course Materials are refundable WITH RECEIPT for the first eight days of the semester. After the first eight days of the semester and until thirty days from the start of the semester, course materials are returnable with verification of course withdrawal and ORIGINAL RECEIPT. New course materials are refundable for full value only if they are returned in “new” condition. The salesperson has exclusive judgment whether the item is in “new” or “used” condition. The salesperson will also determine the amount of refund or the buyback price depending upon the options available to the store at that time. After thirty days from the start of the semester, course materials will not be refunded.
  • Defective course materials will be replaced at no charge and should be returned immediately upon discovery of the defect. Original receipt is required.
  • No refunds are made on duplicated materials or special orders.
  • Items that were purchased with a credit card can only be refunded to that credit card. Cash refunds will not be given on credit card purchases.

Winter/Summer Textbook Return Policy

Course Materials purchased at the University Store for winter and summer sessions are refundable under certain conditions: Course Materials for the current session are refundable WITH RECEIPT within the first five days of the session. New course materials are refundable for full value only if they are returned in “new” condition. The salesperson has exclusive judgment whether the book is in “new” or “used” condition. The salesperson will also determine the amount of refund or the buyback price depending upon the options available to the store at that time. After five days from the start of the session, course materials will not be refunded.
